Frequently Asked Questions and other assorted notes...
Q - What's the skill level of the games?
A - Average to above average, but nearly anyone will fit in.
Q - Do you have room for more players?
A - Almost always. Starting in '08, there's a 15-player limit on each session to avoid parking issues and long waits to play. Sign up early to avoid the cutoff!
Q - Are there lights?
A - Yes!
Q - How long do games last?
A - As long as there are players that want to run - usually at least a couple hours from the scheduled start time.
Q - Can I get there early?
A - Sure. Grab a ball from the bin and start shooting. I'll usually be out shortly to join you.
Q - What is the court surface? Why did you pick it?
A - It's basically a hard plastic tile designed to play more like a hardwood court than would normal concrete or asphalt surfaces. The market leader for this type of surface is Sport Court. Advantages include drainage and repairability. The primary downside is that it's unforgiving (no diving for loose balls!)
Notes:
Parking - Please park in the driveway whenever possible and respect the No Parking street signs. I don't want to annoy the neighbors with too much street parking or tear up the grass unnecessarily.
Pool - Open and available! Please feel free to jump in and cool off after the games.
